Day 271- Cocoa Village

FRIDAY MARCH 20, 2026

We powered our way through rough seas and relentless wind—SO. MUCH. WIND!—but finally made it safely to Cocoa Village Marina, where we’re settling in for the night.

We were excited to meet up with our friends Greg & Deanna from Spirit of Adventure. They recently completed their Loop in Tampa and had been in Jacksonville getting their boat ready for sale, so it worked out perfectly for us to reconnect.

The afternoon turned into a fun evening as we wandered through this charming, artsy little town, popping into a few pubs along the way. There’s quite the variety here—Irish pubs, English pubs, American pubs, and even one called the Village Idiot! We had such a great time catching up that the hours just slipped away.

On our walk, we spotted a bakery that definitely earned a return visit—so that’s our first stop in the morning before we head out again.

In 165 miles, we will cross our wake! Saturday March 28th.

ONE WEEK TO GO!
